Welcome to the demo version of Astronomy Online. This exciting new media package consists of 2 interactive web modules that will complement any astronomy course. Each web module helps students engage in the pursuit of astronomy by providing activities where students can make authentic astronomical observations using many of the same Internet data resources research scientists use. Further taking advantage of a hypermedia environment, Astronomy Online provides hyperlinks to in depth information, images with comprehensive figure captions, videos, animations, living diagrams and interactive exercises that provide multiple approaches to explaining complex concepts.
